Vital ‘TeachShare’ Presentation on Google Docs

This evening I did a ‘TeachShare’ presentation for Vital; an organisation which provides CPD relating to ICT. I met Steve Bunce from Vital at the Google Teacher Academy, and  based the presentation of the one I did there on using Google Docs for writing.

The ‘TeachShare’ format allowed me to extend this significantly, and share some more detailed examples of sharing template documents with pupils, using revision history to monitor editing of work, and how we collaborated with South African pupils. I also responded to some questions about setting up Google Apps and Docs for Primary children, and using netbooks in the classroom.
