Every year Birmingham Local Authority runs a series of conferences for all the Newly Qualified Teachers starting jobs in the city’s primary schools. I was asked to talk at theses conferences on using technology in the classroom. I have been privileged to spend three afternoons speaking to every Primary NQT in the city about why I think they should use new technologies in their classrooms, and how they can get started doing so.

Really enjoyed your presentation and love the google wonder wheel! Thanks 🙂
Thanks Michelle.
Really liked the bit at the end, Oliver.
Feel like I wasted my time in my NQT year and have been trying to catch up ever since!
Keep up the good work.
Thanks Iaine.
Thanks Iain. I think that point at the end is the most important, hopefully it has persuaded some NQTs to think about how and why they use technology in the classroom.
