TeachMeet Twist: London, 29th November

I am excited to be involved in a TeachMeet with a Twist next week in London, and hope you can make it along too… This event is taking place in the fantastic location of ‘The Night Zookeeper”s offices, a part of the Wayra startup accelerator near Tottenham court road.

TeachMeet ‘unconferences’ have always been about getting as many people as possible involved, and sharing the expertise and experience of those in the room rather than a ‘sage on the stage’. At TeachMeet Twist we will have a few presentations, but the main part of the night is going over to group discussions to get teachers and those interested in education sharing their views and ideas, and getting to know each other. The hope is that this can result in productive connections and collaborations which can go on to continue to develop, as well as  few great ideas for things to do with students and learners.

Everyone is welcome, whether your are a classroom teacher, a student, or someone with an interest in education and learning.

Sign up to attend or present on the wiki here.

Or just add yourself to the Facebook event here.

I look forward to seeing you there, seeing your presentations about learning, or just joining you in a discussion. Did I mention there were also some really nice raffle prizes as well..?
